About Athenkosi
I'm a wordsmith from the dorpie of Queenstown. I spend most my time inventing words, and perusing well-written content.
In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies, and Sociology from Rhodes University, Grahamstown. I have spent the last six years working in golf, travel writing, online travel marketing and social media.

I have had the privilege of cutting my teeth at Getaway Magazine, Compleat Golfer, tech-startup Springnest and SABC radio station, trufm. I have also written for Open Heritage Project's WikiAfrica project which focuses on producing decolonised African history for Wikipedia.

I am also the brains behind events such as Men To Men Talk, Hewu Kids Festival, 5360 Summer Reunion and Last Sunday Chill.

During my spare time, I partake in developing online strategies for small business, skating, photography and hiking.
